Thank you for your interest in one of San Diego’s leading social change organizations. Shakti Rising provides holistic, gender-specific and trauma-informed services to young women, ages 15-30, who are dealing with multiple issues including substance abuse, body-image issues, interpersonal violence and depression. The Intensive Apprenticeship Program goes beyond recovery services to cultivate not only the health, but also the emerging leadership qualities of these young women, empowering them to utilize their personal transformation as a catalyst for positive change in their families and communities.

We invite you to help facilitate women’s journeys through addiction, abuse and trauma into health, leadership and integrity with your tax-deductible contribution. Shakti Rising is privately funded through individual contributions, fundraising events, private foundation grants and corporate sponsorships. The Karma Yoga event is created as an awareness and fundraiser event to benefit Shakti.
